Our Story

Known as one of the premier off-premise caterers in the Hamptons and NYC, Insatiable Eats has an established a reputation for exceptional food, creativity and presentation combined with outstanding service. Insatiable Eats cuisine is abound with inventive interpretations and modern creations based on the very best traditions of American, Italian, regional and international cuisine.

Sicilian born, Chef-proprietor Marco Barrila, came to America prime and stuffed from a traditional Italian family of bakers, butchers and farmers. As a child, he grew up working in his grandmother’s trattoria dating back to the early 1800’s. Chef Barrila came to New York at age 24 and became well known on the New York food scene on arrival. In 1999, he was honored as one of the Top 40 Chefs in New York next to Daniel Boulud and Marcuss Samuelsson. In 2005, Chef Barrila embarked upon the Hampton’s scene performing elite high-profile dinners that led to multi-media and star studded events. In 2007, Chef Barrila orchestrated some of the countries best celebrity chefs to create different menus for the Ross School Concert Series. In 2010, Chef Barrila established Insatiable Eats Catering Company to meet the growing demand for high-quality special events and entertaining. Chef Barrila has received numerous awards throughout his career. He has appeared on radio and tv shows including Chopped and frequently performs for Food Network events.

Insatiable Eats provides full-service catering, party planning and event management services for corporate entertaining, galas and fund-raisers, social events, weddings, receptions and business breakfast/luncheons. We offer three separate divisions to satisfy our customers’ needs – Craft Express, Full-Service Events and Weddings – all that are insatiable of course!

An experienced event planner custom designs each menu and coordinates both the decor and food presentation for your event. All of our food is prepared from the freshest ingredients delivered from specialty food growers and purveyors around the country. Whether the event is a formal French-service dinner, an authentic Texas-style barbecue, a client luncheon for ten, or a glorious gala of more than 1,000 guests, Insatiable Eats has the imagination and expertise to make the event sensational.
